Our story, our land
Rooted in relationships and respect, each bar is made with ingredients grown by trusted farmers in Guatemala—nurturing the land, honoring tradition, and supporting communities every step of the way.

About our soap
More than a bar—this is a bridge between worlds.
Handcrafted with ingredients grown by small farms in the highlands of Guatemala, our soap is rooted in the wisdom of Kaq’chikel Maya traditions. These communities, whose elders still speak their endangered language, carry forward ancient practices of healing with plants and herbs. Every bar we create is an offering of that heritage—infused with knowledge passed down through generations.
By working directly with local farmers and supporting partner organizations that pay living wages and promote economic empowerment, we’re helping weave together the traditional bartering system and the modern economy. This is about more than sustainability—it’s about equity, respect, and reconnection.
When you use this soap, you’re part of something much deeper: honoring people and land, preserving culture, and creating a future where everyone is seen and supported.

Hope (and soap) springs eternal
A timeless phrase that speaks to the heart of human nature—“Hope springs eternal” reminds us that even in the face of challenge, we continue to look forward with faith and resilience.
Coined by poet Alexander Pope in his 1732 Essay on Man, the full line reads:
“Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never is, but always to be blessed.”
It’s a reflection of enduring optimism—the belief that something better is always possible. For us, it’s more than a saying; it’s a way of being. Each bar of soap is a small act of hope—for the skin, the soil, and the souls who sustain it all.
